School Policies

1. All candidates must be 18 years old by graduation.

2. 100 percent attendance is required for all classes in order to graduate Pre-

    licensing. Missed classes may be made up at a later time at a cost of $30

    per class. Repeated tardiness will not be tolerated.

3. Students are expected to conduct themselves in a manner consistent with

    the standards of the business world with regards to dress and decorum.

    Offensive and disruptive conduct will not be tolerated and is cause for

    immediate dismissal from class.

4. All study materials will be provided by the school. Students are

    responsible for notebooks, paper, pens, calculators and other necessary

    tools. Tape recorders are not permitted.

5. Tuition for all classes is payable by cash, check or credit card and is due at

    the time of registration and must be processed 4 days before class begins.

    A $30 fee will be charged to any bounced checks. There are no refunds but

    payment may be applied to future classes within a year from the date.

 6. If a student wishes to retake a course/class, they may do so at a cost of

     50% of the original amount if they do so within six months.

7. Upon successful completion of classes and courses, students will be mailed

    their certificates in most cases. For some continuing education classes

    certificates will be given at the conclusion of the class.

8. The Pre-License Real Estate Examination Course consists of 15 classes 

    totalling 45 hours as required by Rhode Island License Law. The course

    prepares the student for the Rhode Island Real Estate License

    Examination. The Pre-License course needs to be completed along with a

    3-hour Lead Paint class before applying to take the state license exam. All

    students will be guided through the entire process of obtaining a license

    and will be provided with Salesperson's license applications and a booklet

     of Rules and Regulations on Rhode Island License Law. Absolutely every

    effort will be made to prepare students to successfully take the State

    exam. Ultimately however, it is the responsibility of the student to make

    the best use of the materials provided to study and learn in order to be

    fully prepared for examination.
